Hangul guide

Hangul is designed to be learnable quickly. Letters form syllable blocks — once you know these shapes, reading Korean opens up fast.

How syllables work

Each block is usually consonant + vowel (+ optional final consonant). Example: 한 = ㅎ + ㅏ + ㄴ.

Tap any letter or syllable to hear it (browser text-to-speech).

Study tip

Learn Hangul first, then add real words in the Vocabulary table. Reading practice + flashcards is faster than romanization alone.
